Experts present Innovation Monitor 2024
The Innovation Monitor 2024 for the Rhine district of Neuss, the district of Heinsberg and the city of Mönchengladbach will be presented on Monday, March 11th, in Meerbusch. The event under the motto “Economy on the move: Future progress through innovative strength” begins at 4.30 p.m. in the Glühofenhalle in the Böhler area. District director Dirk Brügge welcomes the participants for information and exchange.
The economic development agencies of the Rhine district of Neuss, the district of Heinsberg and the city of Mönchengladbach, the Land sequence Garzweiler special purpose association and Zenit GmbH have set themselves the goal of connecting the future space of the opencast mining landscape with the regional economy as part of the structural change project “Innovation Valley Garzweiler”. . The goal is to establish a strong innovation ecosystem.
“Innovation Valley Garzweiler” aims to create a network in which actors from business, science and public institutions work together to promote innovation. Based on a broad analysis, the Innovation Monitor 2024 takes stock of current events in the Rhine district of Neuss, the district of Heinsberg and the city of Mönchengladbach. It should pave the way for further activities.
At the event on the Böhler site, Jürgen Schnitzmeier, managing director of Zenit GmbH, will present the “Innovation Valley Garzweiler” project. About the topic “Overtaking AND staying on track? Master the test between transformation AND core business,” says expert Christian Schwedler. The presentation of the Innovation Monitor 2024 is the responsibility of Dr. Rainer Bovelet, managing director of communication research and consulting Synergie2. The presentation of top innovators as well as outlook and networks close the circle.

Experten stellen Innovationsmonitor 2024 vor
Der Innovationsmonitor 2024 für den Rhein-Kreis Neuss, den Kreis Heinsberg und die Stadt Mönchengladbach wird am Montag, 11. März, in Meerbusch vorgestellt. Die Veranstaltung unter dem Leitwort „Wirtschaft im Aufbruch: Zukünftige Fortschritte durch Innovationskraft“ beginnt um 16.30 Uhr in der Glühofenhalle des Areals Böhler. Kreisdirektor Dirk Brügge begrüßt die Teilnehmer zu Information und Austausch.
Die Wirtschaftsförderungen des Rhein-Kreises Neuss, des Kreises Heinsberg und der Stadt Mönchengladbach, der Zweckverband Landfolge Garzweiler und die Zenit GmbH haben es sich zum Ziel gesetzt, im Rahmen des Strukturwandelprojekts „Innovation Valley Garzweiler“ den Zukunftsraum der Tagebaulandschaft mit der regionalen Wirtschaft zu vernetzen. Ziel ist es, ein starkes Innovations-Ökosystem zu etablieren.
„Innovation Valley Garzweiler“ strebt die Schaffung eines Netzwerks an, in dem Akteure aus Wirtschaft, Wissenschaft und öffentlichen Institutionen gemeinsam an der Förderung von Innovationen arbeiten. Auf Basis einer breit angelegten Analyse bildet der Innovationsmonitor 2024 eine Bestandsaufnahme des aktuellen Geschehens im Rhein-Kreis Neuss, im Kreis Heinsberg und in der Stadt Mönchengladbach. Er soll den Weg für weitere Aktivitäten ebnen.
Bei der Veranstaltung auf dem Areal Böhler stellt Jürgen Schnitzmeier, Geschäftsführer der Zenit GmbH, das Projekt „Innovation Valley Garzweiler“ vor. Über das Thema „Überholen UND auf Spur bleiben? Meistern Sie die Zerreißprobe zwischen Transformation UND Kerngeschäft“ referiert der Experte Christian Schwedler. Die Vorstellung des Innovationsmonitors 2024 obliegt Dr. Rainer Bovelet, Geschäftsführer der Kommunikationsforschung und -beratung Synergie2. Die Präsentation von Top-Innovatoren sowie Ausblick und Netzwerken schließen den Kreis.
