GBN Systems has been a member from the very beginning
Instead of passive support, this time the members were given the opportunity to actively shape the locally and globally active innovation network.
On behalf of GBN Systems, GBN CEO Siegried Foerg and Harry Flint took part in the kick-off partner meeting in the innovation network Forum MedTech Pharma in Nuremberg.
As already announced in our news, the Forum Medtech Pharma network was incorporated into Bayern Innovativ Gesundheit this year. In February 2024, this innovation was sealed with a kick-off event for your member partners in Nuremberg.
As before, the network continues to stand for knowledge management and acceleration of innovations and provides the right impetus for this with a trustworthy network.
To ensure that every viable idea and technology becomes an innovation, over 15 experts from the fields of medical technology, digital health, biotechnology and pharmaceuticals as well as care innovation provide support.
“As a member from the very beginning, we have been part of the Bavarian Health Innovation Network with drive and know-how,” says Siegfried Foerg, managing director of long-standing member GBN Systems.
At this meeting, Dr. Jörg Traub, head of the network, encouraged participants to actively participate. In the form of a dynamic innovation workshop, everyone was able to get involved directly, put forward their ideas and cooperation approaches and consolidate the network management through group work.
Through this “open approach” the aim is to find an efficient method to more productively overcome the challenges of ensuring high-quality and efficient healthcare.
Networking of the industry and a transdisciplinary exchange are necessary so that the Bavarian health system comes to the forefront in areas such as prevention, diagnosis, therapy and follow-up care.
The aim of the entire group of participants is: “That the innovations do not migrate but that they basically stay where they belong, namely where they usually originate, here in Bavaria,” summarizes Siegfried Förg. This describes exactly the common thread (“Performing Mechatronics – made in Bavaria”) that the OEM company has successfully adhered to for 35 years. GBN Systems combines development, production and assembly under one roof and relies on its regional and broad network.
As part of the event, regular future event planning was also created through collaboration with Harry Flint.
In 2024, Bayern Innovativ's health innovation network will be present in the market with many events. These include online regulars' tables, the leading trade fair MedtecLIVE and the Medtech Summit with partnering.

Statt passiver Berieselung erwartete die Mitglieder diesmal die Möglichkeit zur aktiven Gestaltung des lokal und global agierenden Innovationsnetzwerks.
Für GBN Systems nahmen GBN CEO Siegried Foerg und Harry Flint am Kick-Off-Partnertreffen im Innovationsnetzwerk Forum MedTech Pharma in Nürnberg teil.
Wie in unserer News bereits angekündigt, ging das Netzwerk Forum Medtech Pharma in diesem Jahr im Bayern Innovativ Gesundheit auf. Im Februar 2024 wurde diese Neuerung mit einer Kick-Off-Veranstaltung für Ihre Mitgliedpartner in Nürnberg besiegelt.
Wie bisher steht das Netzwerk weiterhin für Wissensmanagement sowie Beschleunigung von Innovationen und gibt hierfür die richtigen Impulse mit einem vertrauensvollen Netzwerk.
Damit jede tragfähige Idee und Technologie zu einer Innovation wird, unterstützen hier über 15 Experten aus den Bereichen Medizintechnik, digitale Gesundheit, Biotechnologie und Pharmazie sowie der Pflegeinnovation.
„Als Mitglied der ersten Stunde sind wir mit Tatkraft und Know-How im Bayern Innovationsnetzwerk Gesundheit mit dabei“ so Siegfried Foerg, Geschäftsführer des langjährigen Mitglieds GBN Systems.
Bei diesem Treffen animierte Dr. Jörg Traub, Leiter des Netzwerks, die Teilnehmer zur aktiven Beteiligung. In Form eines dynamischen Innovations-Workshops, konnte sich jeder direkt einbringen, die Gedanken und Kooperationsansätze vorbringen und über Gruppenarbeit die Netzwerkleitung verdichten.
Durch diese „offene Herangehensweise“ möchte man versuchen, eine effiziente Methode zu finden, um die Herausforderungen, eine qualitativ hochwertige und effiziente Gesundheitsversorgung zu gewährleisten, produktiver zu meistern.
Eine Vernetzung der Branche und ein transdisziplinärer Austausch sind erforderlich, damit das bayrische Gesundheitssystem in Bereichen wie der Prävention, Diagnose, Therapie und Nachversorgung an die Spitze kommt.
Ziel des gesamten Teilnehmerkreises sei: „Dass die Neuheiten nicht abwandern sondern dass sie im Prinzip dort bleiben, wo sie hingehören, nämlich wo sie meistens ihren Ursprung haben, hier in Bayern.“ fasst es Siegfried Förg zusammen. Das beschreibt genau den roten Faden („Performing Mechatronics – made in Bavaria„), an den sich das OEM-Unternehmen seit 35 Jahren erfolgreich hält. GBN Systems vereint Entwicklung, Fertigung und Montage unter einem Dach und setzt auf ihr regionales & breitgefächertes Netzwerk.
Im Rahmen der Veranstaltung wurde auch durch die Zusammenarbeit mit Harry Flint eine zukünftig regelmäßige Event-Planung erstellt.
2024 wird das Innovationsnetzwerk Gesundheit von Bayern Innovativ mit vielen Anlässen im Markt präsent sein. Dazu gehören online Stammtische, die Leitmesse MedtecLIVE sowie der Medtech Summit mit Partnering.
